Q: What is the Spring Social all about?

A: For those of you who have attended the Spring Gala in past years, this event is very similar.  The event will be held at Heritage Hill Brewhouse in Pompey again this year.  We will have some outdoor games, a food buffet, cash bar, silent auction, a live auction, and time to mingle with some other MSS families (past and present). The goal of the event is to get our community together for a fun night out and to raise money for our school!

 

Q: Can I bring my child?

A: The Spring Social is an event for all of us to attend without the students. Alumni students who are 16 or older are invited to attend as well.  We want this to be a fun, kid-free night out.

 

Q: What is the proper attire? Is this a fancy event?

A: The venue this year, Heritage Hill Brewhouse, is a laid-back rustic style barn with a large deck and an outdoor gazebo where we will have some live music performances. This is not a fancy gala. Guests can wear casual attire or dress up a little for a fun night out. There is not an official dress code!

 

Q: What is the cost to attend? How do I RSVP?

A: This year, we are happy to announce that  tickets are FREE to all parents, grandparents, and alumni (age 16+). Once registration opens, you can go to the tickets tab to reserve your spot. We do have limited seating so don't wait too long to register!  

 

Q: Who will I sit with? Do I need to reserve a table so I can sit with my friends?

A: This year's seating will be casual, open seating. We will not have reserved seats. There will be some tables, but guests are encouraged to wander around to browse  the Silent Auction items, play yard games, listen to live music, grab a drink at the bar, and mingle. We will all gather near the end of the evening for a short live auction and an opportunity for guests to raise their paddle to raise some money for our school! 

Q: Where do I park when I get to Heritage Hill? 

A: There will be signs for Event Parking. All guests must park in this parking lot and not the main restaurant parking lot.
