2026 Spring Benefit Middle Ages Brewery
Friday, May 1, 2026

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is the Spring Benefit all about?

A: For those of you who have attended the Spring Gala in past years, this event is very similar.  The event will be held at Middle Ages Brewery (120 Wilkinson St. - Upstairs Event Hall).   We will have a food buffet catered by Dinosaur BBQ, a cash bar, silent auction, live auction, live music and time to mingle with some other MSS families (past and present). The goal of the event is to get our community together for a fun night out and to raise money for our school!

Q: Can I bring my child?

A: The Spring Benefit is an event for all of us to attend without the students. Alumni students who are 16 or older are invited to attend as well.  We want this to be a fun, kid-free night out.

Q: What is the proper attire? Is this a fancy event?

A: The venue this year, Middle Ages Brewery, has a top floor that is just perfect for our gathering. This is not a fancy gala. Guests can wear casual attire or dress up a little for a fun night out. There is not an official dress code!

Q: What is the cost to attend? How do I RSVP?

A: Once registration opens, you can go to the tickets tab to reserve your spot.  The cost to attend is $40 per person. All parents, grandparents, and alumni (age 16+) are invited.

Q: Who will I sit with? Do I need to reserve a table so I can sit with my friends?

A: This year's seating will be casual, open seating. We will not have reserved seats. There will be some tables, but guests are encouraged to wander around to browse the Silent Auction items, listen to live music, grab a drink at the bar, and mingle. We will all gather near the end of the evening for a short Live Auction.

Q: Where do I park when I get to the Brewery?

A: Our benefit is on the top floor of the building, above the tap room. You will enter through the main door and will be greeted by some of our staff to check-in and then head upstairs to the event hall. There is ample street parking located around the brewery.  Additionally, Visions Federal Credit Union and Syracuse Fire Department FCU will allow us to use their lots as they close at 5 PM. Please do not block their drive-up ATM's. We will share a map as we get a closer to help for those who are not familiar with this area.
